Assistant Professor of Brass at Mount Allison University, Olivier Blakney values versatility, both a performer and pedagogue. By utilizing technology in teaching, Olivier has created digital studio with students based around the world. As a scholar Olivier has had multiple articles published in The Horn Call on how music theory to enhance their performances.
Digital Studio
Modern technology allows for us to learn and communicate regardless of physical proximity. My digital studio has enabled students from around the U.S. and the world to study horn and greatly improve their musicianship. Many students through the years have benefited from participating in my digital studio.
